But they were building motels, one after the other that will sit empty when the boom dies and disintegrate.

The human race has little foresight for all its intelligence - but perhaps intelligence and wisdom are two different things????Gardeniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06233358355888022857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23226602.post-31383082689466049962008-04-22T18:04:00.000-04:002008-04-22T18:04:00.000-04:00The traveling nation - hobos work and wander; bums...The traveling nation - hobos work and wander; bums drink and wander; tramps dream and wander. Recently I have been also to an exhibition of whole collection of them. There is still many places which didn’t change a look in Toronto. Problem is that they or not enough preserved. Working as a realtor in Toronto I have seen lot of nice places sacrificed to the plans of developers. We should be aware that also old typical factory made from red bricks is a heritage worth to preserve for future generations. Maybe it doesn’t look interesting fir many people now but for sure our kids will be grateful so see a piece of historyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23226602.post-1187303644479090732008-04-22T11:48:00.000-04:002008-04-22T11:48:00.000-04:00Thanks Tweetey, it was a lot of fun finding these ...Thanks Tweetey, it was a lot of fun finding these pics.
