Do you watch Blade: The Series? I've not seen it, but I thought it might appeal to you.
ReplyDeleteA female Terminator????
ReplyDeleteFirst they tranny up Starbuck and now Arnie????
Is nothing sacred?????
What next? The Fonz goes gay????
Buffy the series was SO much better than the movie. They didn't get Joss Whedon's humor when they made that movie.
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
Happy Days = American Graffiti, right? (Thanks for visiting my TT)
ReplyDeleteBewitched? I don't know that movie. The others I knew about.
ReplyDeleteDid you see the La Femme Nikita series? This was the best series I ever saw come out. We never missed one. I need to see if I can find it on DVD.
ReplyDeleteI can't count the number of times I watched the movie version of "Fame" when it hit cable in the early 80s. I was also a fan of the TV show as well.
ReplyDeleteI was curious about two things on your list.
I know that the show "Bewitched" inspired the movie version starring Nicole Kidman. What movie was the show based on?
I have the same question about "Happy Days". Since it was similar to "American Graffiti", are you counting that as an adaptation?
I presume bewitched was based on "I Married A Witch" with Frederic March. Many years later they based a movie on the TV show, wasting the talent of Nicole Kidman, and it was awful!
ReplyDeletei think i 'met' all of these via the TV show. i've actually seen less than half of the original movies.
ReplyDeletei think i've owed you several visits since NaNo began in November. I dropped a lot of the balls I was juggling about then and am just now starting to gather them up again.
happy TT
Hi in a hurry soI'll quickly answer the Bewitched question...it was inspired by a crazy movie called Bell , book and Candle starring Kim Novak and James Stewart, 1958.
ReplyDeleteHappy Days was an offshoot of American Graffiti.
all i know is it's staring here in february on the virgin channel!
ReplyDeletemost of them i don't really watch...
