A Little Soho

Just a few pics from storefronts in Soho. Below Vivience Westwood display had a "Free Assange" effort...which I totally agree with. Both Julian Assange and Edward Snowdon are heroes. We would not known about the violations of the government in USA without them. The 3 pics following...

I have no idea why  took this pic...but maybe it will come to me later and I'll edit this...

Julian Of Norwich

We went to the church where Julian of Norwich lived in a. small cell...it was a wonderful experience and I felt something very special sitting in the same small area where she lived and served her community by giving solace and listening.

(from Wiki) also known as Juliana of Norwichthe Lady JulianDame Julian[4] or Mother Julian, was an English anchoress of the Middle Ages. Her writings, now known as Revelations of Divine Love, are the earliest surviving English language works by a woman, although it is possible that some anonymous works may have had female authors. They are also the only surviving English language works by an anchoress.

Julian lived in the English city of Norwich, an important centre for commerce that also had a vibrant religious life. During her lifetime, the city suffered the devastating effects of the Black Death of 1348–1350, the Peasants' Revolt (which affected large parts of England in 1381), and the suppression of the Lollards. In 1373, aged 30 and so seriously ill she thought she was on her deathbed, Julian received a series of visions or shewings of the Passion of Christ. She recovered from her illness and wrote two versions of her experiences, the earlier one being completed soon after her recovery—a much longer version, today known as the Long Text, was written many years later.

Some Reading

These are some of the books I've read in the last 2 and a half months. All of them fantastic.
