Amazing Pop Culture!

So many great panels. I've met a lot of cormsc mccarthy fans....and heard so many great presentations. Tarot card history, gender in film Hotchcock and Lacan, Hitchcock and identity, reality TV: gold rush, the bachelor, conflict resolution. Rap and hip hop, a linguist talking about spanish in "in the heights" Broadway musical. Classical studies on Tolkien, on touché.

Southwest Conference On Popular Culture

 We are almost ready and packed for our trip to New Mexico next week for the conference in Albuquerque. I am presenting on Friday afternoon. I will post more details. I've got butterflies...and feel like I'm going crazy. But I've picked out what I'mw wearing for presenting my paper and thats the hard part, right? Above are two small paintings I made of Cameron Diaz's ward robe at the end of THE COUNSELOR. Below...is the cover of my compilation dvd. Four of my short films are in this dvd compilation. We also have a booth for my husband Stagg, and my art work. I am nervous....but good...
