Checking In....

Hi Sportsfans...

I am in an internet cafe...again...in Toronto. It's Thanksgiving here in Canada...no we don't really celebrate pilgrims or Columbus here I suppose a little bit of football and lots of food.

I am pretty excited...I had made plans to go to Dallas and meet a couple people...friends and film some more interviews for my documentary.

I woke up one day last week and thought...what have I done?

I am scheduled to meet a guy I've only known for six months online and the person I do know hasn't called me back...and I haven't even booked a hotel and I'm supposed to meet Mister Anchovy Tuffy P and Stagg by Friday. ARGH>>


And then I said, wait have some faith, you had a vision...stick with it...

So I called my friend from one of my online bookclubs...and she said she got my message but it was completely garbled and she couldn't understand exactly what I said...I said, I'll be there Tuesday.

I said I needed to find a hotel and limo driver and track down this interview etc.

She said, wait I'll phone you right back.

She calls back while I'm on the beach with gal pals Anita and Dolly...and says...not only will she pick me up at the airport, I can stay with her sister and she'll drive me to my interview!

Now that is what they mean when they say southern hospitality.

I am so excited!

Meanwhile...I am more or less packed, I miss Stagg something awful, it's rainy here but am spending the day baking and cooking for Thanksgiving...and will probably watch a couple movies.

I picked up copies on sale of Borat(he is a genius!), Casino Royale(perfect movie) and Decent (chicks with picks) a local rental spot was moving and they had all kinds of deals on dvds. Yippee.

I also deleted a couple of widgets here on my blog today...I hope that helps the folks who were having trouble getting my blog to surface find it a little faster. Please let me know if the changes I made have helped you come and visit....it seems computers older than three years (or some non-macs) have difficulty with downloading this site...I've been on a number of computers in the past month, internet cafes, libraries, Kinkos...and I can't see any problems the site comes up quick. But on a couple of friends who have older computers...this site just freezes up...
