We put the tirkey in the oven about 1:30 this afternoon. Yesterday Sara came over and made two pumpin pies. We are all set for supper tonight...the turkey is almost cooked. We very sadly watched the sad and shocking news in Mumbai and thoughts go to the people suffering there last night and today. Very scary...and here we are playing Bookopoly.

Oh yepper! Pjazzypar...we all stopped what we were doing and watched the Obama interview with Baba Wawa. I love him! I got all teary eyed....again! I love Michelle too!
Happy Thanksgiving - there is something about preparing great food that fits with the holiday somehow.
I always get teary when I see Obama with his family. And you know I didn't even like him at first and now I love him like a long lost kid. Those sweet eyes!
I'm reading his books and getting to know him and my respect and love grow chapter by chapter and then I feel dopey because I've never felt this way about a President before. I think we have something to be thankful for - he was elected! I'm sure Michelle is a strong and contributing partner in his life...his love for his family shows, its refreshing and touching. I missed the interview - it will probably replay on some of the channels, yes?
I noticed Bush seems to be rushing some things through that I wish he would let alone!
