Knoxville Moments...

From left, Paulo, Alexandra and Wes, under a quote from one of McCarthy's novels at the Preservation Pub in Market Square.

Rick and his son, at King Tut's restaurant with our ginormous Greek Salad.
I have taken lots of video...and these pics are taken with my cell phone.

Inside Blount Mansion, looking at the Declaration of Independance. Paulo is translating Suttree into Portuguese. His wife, Alexandra, came with him to Knoxville.

Crossing the Gay Street Bridge with Paulo and Alwexandra, Monday July 21, 2008.

Looks like your project is going fine and dandy, although the weather in Tennessee around this time of year might not be the best.

I'd like to see what you eventually get, discover and think about this trip.

Bridget, it's a Nokia, and the pics aren't too bad are they?

Tweetey, these folks are wonderful, we really had a lot in common and some really good laughs. It was one of those trips of a lifetime!

X. Dell, I also got some great video which I will try to find and load here. Still tired from the trip...but you're right, the project is going great!

Mister Anchovy, I thought of you many times last week. The locations of Harrogates "house", where Suttre staggered were wonderful. Locations from the novel "The Road" were cool...the father and son must have been walking for years! There is a lot of fishing, but the water is polluted...

Underground Baker, I just got home yesterday morning...I wish you were with me, what a howl!

L.M. I know the crosshairs are weird huh? That is a new development. Fortunately lots of video tape too!

Martha, it's the season, summer is more active than winter when it comes to blog time, I think. Thanks for stopping by...we'll catch up and inspirtion comes and goes yes?
