Blog Birthday

Kawasaki Krump on eBay. It's been one year that I have been blogging. This is post # 457.
I was reading about marketing and found Guy Kawasaki's blog. One day Kawasaki said he wanted to make it to top ten of technorati ranking...so I commented that I would beat him. Then I made a portrait of him for intimidation purposes. Nothing scares an opponent like painting their portrait.Guy Kawasaki is ranked #41 on technorati. I am ranked at 3355. It's a hell of a lot closer to beating him into technorati top ten than I was a year ago. I wonder if he has stopped by to check out my rank?
Sounds to me he's been begging for links from this blog...and a conspiracy?
What's a birthday without a self-potrait as Hunter S. Thompson.

NICE portrait, Candy Minx! He should be very flattered and want to buy it! How could one have a portrait out there like that and not want to buy it? Love your self-portrait! (Smile.)

Matthew, Hi!!! I'm not worried about Guy kawasaki, I nejoy some of his work and he after all...did help market the mac/apple. Oh No, this is my idea of good clean fun. I suspect Mr Kawasaki has fairly okay karma...I just like a little game.

thanks Gardenia, I'm surprised you hadn't seen this before, i've posted it a few times. I would like to see some huge corproations get into a bidding war for this painting...doesn't it seem like t would be super cool and trendy to have it hang in some corporate office meetingroom? I don't expect Kawasaki to buy it, that wouldn't be as fun...I wish he would link the eBay address on his blog though so his fans might take a look at the portrait. :) And that way...he wouldn't be giving me a link (because notice, I never link his blog awhhhaahhhaa) but he would help spark interest...after all...

I am going to give half the sale price of this portrait to a charity of Guy Kawasaki's choice.

You have covered a lot of ground for one year of blogging. Always something interesting here, thanks for the efforts.

And...tremendous picture of you as the Great Shark Hunter.

...somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert...

Keep those bats at bay. Heh.

Happy blog birthday Candy, mine was in October 2006 and I never noticed. I strongly feel that a blog is very personal, an individual mind. It should not be compared with any one, it stands alone. It forms a platform for your expression, your thinking, your ideas which you want to share with others. And Thank you Candy for the delight, a wealth of information and all your ideas.

I love the glasses you're wearing in your self-portrait. And oh my God, your complexion is so clear! (I am in awe of people with really good skin.)
