Keeping A Low Nut

I love the actor John Hawkes and he gave a terrific downtoearth interview..here at ESQUIRE

. He mentions a friends band
I don't mean to seem ungrateful. My buddy Foster Timms, great songwriter back in L.A., has a song that goes, "Celebrities up in the hills live high on the hog, ticket buyers pay their bills and gape at them in awe.... [Warbles] Dadadada... they complain they got it rough, boo-fuckin'-hoo it must be tough. Save that shit for your shrink or your next movie, don't tell us about the pain, show us the baby." I don't wanna be one of those people in my buddy Foster's song. I couldn't find the video online but heres a good one...

Einstein said something to the effect, "The more famous I get, the stupider I get. I hear that is quite common."

Me, I've never had to worry about it on my end. But from what I've seen of it in others, fame doesn't improve anyone.

(Wouldn't happen to have a doughnut ATM around here, eh?)

Ha ha a donut ATM might be good too. Great to hear from you X!

I have been haunted by an Al Pacino interview many years ago where he said "wanting to be famous isn't a crime, being famous is"
