Cormac finds a bold and concise statement that is straight to the point of “we’re all gonna die” Talk of the Worlds ending brings grim news to the event. Cormac receives a genius grant and avoids his art community socializing with the scientists because they are more amuzing. Became friends with Murray Gellman and quickly changed his life’s course broadening his spectrum of knowledge into many science fields. SFI began studying complexity and thought through its study they could broaden knowledge of life itself. They began to study into artificial life. McCormac makes frequent visits to the institute while writing to avoid becoming bored with himself. McCormac frequently proofreads scientific papers for the institute including many doctoral statements. The time at the institute forced him to improve upon his own work. The improvement while at the institute is apparent in his recent books that are becoming films. He began speaking to experts on topics like Extinction. The learning of the skies and how they would look during the extinctions with Erwin gave him inspiration. Began to realize the thinking of others lives not his own. Thoughts of the future of his son instead of himself coursed his mind. He blames himself for some things his son experiences because of the violent environment. His two best novels suggest completely opposite ideals. He thinks that violence and rudeness will never go away. He wants to take his son to New Zealand. Scientists believe we can save the earth, others believe they are headed to Cormac’s view. Cormac begins thinking of a finale realizing he wont be around forever. Even if hes too old to write novels he will continue to write even if only in a journal.
