Hi Gardenia...we walk by that 1st photo all the time, the window all taped up. And I keep saying I've got to post a pic of it...so I was glad to remember. I think that is art! Art not even knowing it's art, love it.
It gets dark so early through the winter...I kind of like the challenge of trying to take pictures and remembering to still take the time to look around. It's so easy in the winter to just get all blue and feel like "nothing is happneing" but of course all is moving...
Pickled Olives, the first photo is a patch job of a storefront window. It's all kinds of coloured duct tape, panes of plastic window glass...all mashed up and keeping the cold out.

I like that taped up window! it has a certain economy to it and weirdly reminds me of some of your collage art.
