I think Thomas McGuane and Marlon Brando created one of the most awesome characters in film, "The Regulator" in Missouri Breaks. This movie was a big deal to me when I first saw it, I loved Brando's character and was afraid of him at the same time. One of my favourite bad guys.
Fascinating - I found the remark of Jane Fonda about how in later life she felt he had lost belief in any kind of change so opposite of what he was in his thinking -his mind, the inventions, the brilliance....amazing person, wasn't he? Not to mention that magical ability he had to make women melt....
I know, Johnny Depp is beautiful. I'll watch anything he is in.
Gardenia, yeah, I thought that was interesting too...I watched almost every einstallment of this documentary. I am crazy about Brando. Like Depp, he's one of those actors I'll watch anything they are in. Brando was absolutely gorgeous, what a fabulous face. I loved him right to the end. I should have posted some photos...maybe ina future post, ok?
I caught this same documentary a couple of weeks ago. Although I've never seen it, the Missouri Breaks clips featured in the documentary made me want to see it.
