Whoops! Where the heck have I been. I just couldn't get a moment to upload pics. Here are a couple of decorated doorways in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. I had no idea there were all kinds of decorations for this celebration much like Easter or Halloween or Christmas. Also are just some odds and ends from near our hostel.

I actually liked the mask at the fifth picture! It seems as if it's inviting me to enter that door.
