Where Are We Going?

Our bus was scheduled to leave Chicago at 11 p.m. We had many errands and lessons to take before getting downtown. We ate dinner at our favourite joint, Bad Dog Tavern. Went home got our suitcases and took a city bus down to the bus station for a "three hour tour" A three hour tour.
We get downtown to our transfer spot but couldn't see a bus stop so we jumped in a taxi. We had a taxi accident about three blocks from the bus station. We weren't hurt although we were both thrown on the floor. I bonked my head and had two bruises on my knees. But we were fine. We had to be witnesses. Then we walked to the Greyhound depot. We were on time but the line up was so long for buses that by the time we got our tickets...we had missed our bus. We slept on the floor of the bus station till the next bus arrived.
The next bus was late.
The bus broke down. No, not where this picture was taken, I didn't take any pics of the bus broken down, we had to wait a couple of hours for a new bus, with several lively characters on the bus. Some freaking out, some talking to them selves or on their cell phones. A new bus arrived and we switched. Stagg helped the driver move all the suitcases and the freight. The rest of the drive was idyllic.

That sounds like a Seinfeld episode! what an eventful evening/night... hope you managed to get some rest once you got to your destination.

Just thinking about your trip makes me laugh...I know I shouldn't but what, is it some kind of family curse?
If something can happen...

I am so glad you didn't get hurt.

Isn't it a drag when your life sounds like a sitcom, or a b-movie?
But then again, you just have to laugh, because really, what else can you do.
