Reminds Me Of Kitimat

There is Stagg working his butt off...it took us about 3 hours or more to get a little cleared out. We didn't even dig out the back to the garage or alley. Forgetaboutit. All this snow came in one nights falling and I haven't seen snow like that since I was in school up in Kitimat. Of course this was nothign compared to a regular snowfall up there but it sure kept us busy that first day.

Grandmas house is almost hidden!

A neighbour a few doors down from us had a plow on his truck which was amazing so our street was cleared two days before most of the other streets in the neighbourhood. We gave him a ginormous bottle of Canadian Club we had kicking around the house. Another neighbour gave Stagg a nice bottle of red after he helped them shovel out their car.

When I was a little anchovy, all the adults drank Canadian Club, and plenty of it too. Today, I don't think I know anyone who drinks the stuff. Time to start a trend.

I agree. We have a couple bottles we found in grandmas basement and I keep forgetting to pick up some 7 up or some such. One of my grandmothers always had cc & 7.

Hey sounds like that is what neighbors are for.. One of ours has a snow blower and they do our side walk sometimes.. Not often but sometimes.. then Jeff and I do the older ladies side walk next door when we notice her son hasnt gotten to it when we do ours..

Yep Tweetey that is the ideal isn't it? Sometimes weeks can go by before I even SEE a neighbor lol so it's nice to have a little bonding. Now comes the true test of neighborly love... What happens when people get territorial about the parking spaces they shoveled out!? There have been reports of people spazzing out over saving shoveled parking spots here the last couple days...Uh oh!
