Very sad anniversary of the London terror bombing.
Why would young people take guns into their schools and shoot their fellow students, blow up a government building or or bomb a public bus? For the same reason they always have...they are nihilists. They feel painted into a corner of the society. They are alienated and disenfranchised and don't believe in anything until they find a kind of bouyancy within ideas motivated group dynamics of a terrorist group or mentor.
Parents watch your children. Read Joseph Conrads The Secret Agent. If you see your misfit lonely teenager or young adult child suddenly adopt religion and a core of friends...don't just celebrate their sudden change of behaviour. Find out why and what and how.
A bunch of teenagers were arrested in Canada a month ago for plotting to blow up the parliment buildings. They had a mentor who was supported by their parents and their temple. I feel those parents and the temple should answer to the law and to every citizen. The parents of the Colombine nihilists had to pay 1 million dollars for the victims families.
We need to question our lifestyles, our economies and our childrens activities. We need the community to realize it is not religion or brainwashing that builds terrorists. These people believe they are righteously cool.
Nihilists grow out of cosy complacent communities where decadence exists next door to moral and spiritual bankrupcy. Where destruction appears as productive as construction. Sound familiar?

It really offends me when the families of the bombers show their faces on TV to say their boys were good sons/husbands/fathers. First of all: forget about your tiny microcosm and answer me this: were they good human beings? Clearly not.
Secondly, is it the mark of a good husband to wilfully leave his wife a widow? Do good fathers leave behind a child that will forever be known/teased/bullied as a terrorist's son? I don't think so.
And it enrages me even more that the bombers' names and faces are more familiar to us than the names/faces of the victims. They should just be known as Misguided Idiot No1, No2, No3 and No4. They do not deserve to be remembered by name. And they shouldn't be given further platforms, like that video that emerged last night. TV networks should just refuse to show such rubbish: just let them be dead and buried and forgotten.

It's totally understandable Red. This is a tender point for me including many of the frustrations you just shared.
Its a very sad day and state of world.
I remember watching an interview with Jeffery Dahmers father...and it made me sick. Why should he claim innocence? Same as the parents here in Canada of the brats involved in the plot to blow up parliment. The parents are crying shocked. Whatever.
I wish parents would take responsibility for raising their kids. All I see are pathetic needy yuppie parents who let their kids run all over restaurants streets with no manners. People are too weak to take a stand and a stand philosophically especially. Now "oarents are victims too"
No parents are just morally lazy for the most part, loving their kids and hoiping to be "friends" with their kids.
Yes, yes, there are a few parents with backbones, but few and far between. Now people have a bay and it's liki stop the world, I'm special, heres a picture of my kid in their "suv stroller".
Spoiled parents make for a spoiled new generation. And worse.

The terrorists are cowards who are safe and brainwash young minds to carry out their evil plans. They are very religious people who are not aware that oly God can give or take away life. They have no right to worship or believe in God. As you say Candy they are spiritually bankrupt.
Too much freedom, due to parental negligence is another cause.

It was London. It was the tube n a bus. It could have been Little Caz or Jax. Shoot the bastards. Martyrs? To who? Other terrorists? Who cares. If yer find 'em shoot 'em. A dead terrorist can't hurt anybody. Gimme a gun....no don't...I wouldn't know which way to point the damn thing
