In 1991 The Conservative Party lost the election in Saskatchewan to the NDP. Over the years several Conservative Party members were convicted of fraud and the party never recovered. Last fall the NDP lost the provincial election to the SaskParty (an alliance of Conservative and Liberals).
As they were moving offices to the opposition offices side of the legislature the NDP found some boxes that had been left behind. Of course they opened them and found a tape made in 1991 of Conservative backroom party workers.

Ouch, I Hate When That Happens...
When emergency crews arrived on the scene soon after they found the man, believed to be in his 40s, impaled through his "rectal area" by one of the metal posts that were supporting the young tree at its base.
The injured man was bleeding badly, but he was conscious and able to talk.
He claimed he had climbed the approximately five-metre-tall tree to escape from two or three muggers, Police said. The would-be bandits then allegedly yanked him out of the tree and he was impaled as he fell to the ground. Police would not confirm or deny reports indicating the man's pants were around his ankles when he was located.
However, they admit they are skeptical of the man's story.

Our camera is on the fritz...and I was trying to send this pic to my sister...but couldn't work it out on my cell phone...so I had to post it here...
I accidently sent the phone photo of my shoe to my brother-in-law...that is wrong on so many levels but I haven't stopped laughing about it...

John Adams-HBO
On the second episode I had chills down my spine and got choked up several times. I liked the cuts between Adams family taking a rudimentary vaccine for pox relating to the struggle for independence and sovereignty.
It is chilling to see America occupied violently by force from a selfish, money grabbing warmongering country ruled by a series of elite family dynasties.
It reminds me that Shakespeare's resonance is partly attributed to the fact that he, like us, was witness to dynasty corruption and political terrorism.
My Faves This Season
Shannon Elizabeth totally surprised me, she is a tom-boy and completely has no cardio endurance...I can relate. Check it out...it's an Adam Ant cover!
I love Edyta, she is my favourite professional on the program. I am glad she has a partner who can dance and might even be able to win this season. Go Edyta! (Okay, I love Maks too...but he's not on this season!)
I was sorry to see Penn go, he is so funny,. I also love Marlee Matlin, Priscilla Presley and Mario.
