A Drawing...
I got an e-mail recently with this image above attached. I thought I would post it here...especially for Mister Anchovy and Ink Casualty.
The image is part of a series of drawings up for auction. (sorry I can't find a link right now...or else maybe this auction has already occurred). The drawigng is a self-portrait by Cormac McCarthy that he did in the late 1960s or early 1970s. It has a plug coming out of his head, he has drawn the number "69" over his eyes, which could be a yin yang symbol...a sexual reference suggesting he has sex on his brain, or the zodiac sign for "Cancer the Crab"...which is his zodiac sign. I love the manual typewriter...which apparently he still uses, not a computer, to write. But extra interesting...is the lines written below his portrait are from a Bob Dylan song!
