Are they really evil? Or is it just a case of bad press, like the poor little foxes in this country? Sure, maybe a chicken gets killed now and then... it doesn't seem a good enough reason to wipe them out in the most barbaric fashion, does it?
I love raccoons. These pics don't show how close I was to them actually but i also realize that is dangerous. But!!! They are living here first. Also they eat mice and rats, so I love them for that. I saw a show about urban animals...um they were here first ha ha and in the wild they live about 4 to a kilometer...here in Toronto they have been foundat one spot 140 to a kilometer! Oops. but I like em!
