Well, these are the scripts. the best BESt way to watch Deadwood is to see it on dvd. The first two seasons are on dvd and the third, and final season should be released in the fall.

It is a hardboiled western which I've been trying to get several folks watch including Mister Anchovy. The character Calamity Jane is awesome as well as buffalo bill, and the brothel owners are tough and real and powerful. This last season they have introduced Wyatt Earp in a way he's never appeared before.

Deadwood is not for the faint of heart though.

We've not watched Deadwood either, though I keep hearing only good things about it. I guess we were put off by the presence of Ian McShane, who used to play an antiquarian with a penchant for solving murders or something... Bad, bad telly, that. But we might give Deadwood a go on your recommendation, Miss C!

Four Dinners you're back !!! I missed ya...we're you businting bad guys? I bet you were!

Um, I know the show you mean Red, it's Lovejoy isn't it? Still very popular in America.

Forget what you know about Lovejoy.

McShane plays "Swearengen" and play is the key word, he plays and works it and swears like a shakespearean lead...only DARK! He is the shit.

Deadwood is cancelled, but I hear that David Milch...creator and writer is developing another show about surfers. I can not wait!!!!

Need I repeat what Red has said: that we have never watched it. Apparently they say "fuck" in it, though, and that's as good a reason to watch as any...

I can't understand why anyone would want to read a script, except scriptwriters.

I watched Deadwood once, I think I'd like it if I gave it another chance.

Annie, a nerd that's who. Okay an uber-nerd heh heh.

Um, but if you think about it all shakespeare fans are reading a "script". Reading plays is a beloved past time and narrative.

I was once given a script of a Seinfeld episode and it was a lot of fun to read. plus, Quinten Tarrantino often has really nice books published of his scripts.

Hi. I know this blog is old but I was unable to find the Deadwood scripts you were talking about. I ADORE that show & have downloaded all 3 seasons, but in Season 2 Episode 2 where Saul is talking to Seth about his "love" of Alma, he's drunk off his ass & I don't understand what he says after, "Now I get to tell you you're wrong..." I was looking for the script online but am unable to find it. Thanks for any assistance.

Adrienne
