Porch and Bello

We met my ol college buddy (doesn't that make me sound like a great history, like smart?...don't be fooled, I was the worse student in the world) Andrew the other day and went down to a great place called Porch. Stagg is hamming it up...on the porch of Porch.

We were wandering around the shops in the lower east side near Tompins Square Park and thinking about eating. We passed two men sitting outside at a table with glasses of white wine. Something about the gentlemen hit me...but we kept walking. We looked at a dozen restaurants, but i liked those two guys sitting at one lone table outside a restaurant. so back we went. Turned out to be the most delightful little Italian restaurant run by the fellow in this pic who had had restaurants at Wall Street and also at 50th. We had a great dinner and that is our server here in pic too. Bello Restaurant.
