Dreams
Yesterday afternoon a friend and I were talking about her dreams. She has been under the weather for a few weeks and she has also been having intense vivid dreams. We have been looking at her dreams and trying to understand them...and yesterday we spent a bit of time wondering if her dreams were suggesting what was going on with her body. We also were able to laugh at ourselves for thinking this way. Like as if her subconscious was trying to tell her what was off kilter with her body. Last night on House the team hooks up a machine to a teenager who is very sick and hallucinating in the hospital because House says "We don't know, but the brain knows" and “Her subconscious is trying to tell her something. We have to eavesdrop.” Then the team proceeds to hook the patient up to a monitor that manifests her hallucinations to evaluate based on cognitive pattern recognition. It was very Altered States. Kewl... I almost fell off the couch.

interesting how you put two and two together.. that was neat... hopefully she got some insight on what is going on..
Would you want buddy on House to be your Dr?
When my knee was hurting me I saw three different Drs. The first one couldn't diagnose it and wouldn't send me to a specialist and suggested physio. The second one couldn't diagnose it and suggested some tests. The third guy stopped me before I finished describing the symptoms, told me what the problem was and gave me a couple exercises to do to correct it. Maybe the third guy had seen it a couple times and the others hadn't, or maybe the third guy studied harder in med school. Who knows. (by the way, my knee is just about 100% again)
Tweetey, we laughed pretty hard about the tv show. My gal pal had seen that episode too.
Mr. A,I would I totally want House to be my doctor. (He is after all, Sherlock Holmes. Get it, Holmes=House?) I would want him to be my doc especially if I had some freaky deaky illness. lol...I think his staff take him way too seriously...I think he has a wild sense of humour.
