The roundtable was in part a re-cap and response to the previous panelson McCarthy. We spent a lot of time talking about Sherrif Bell, his character, the role of Anton Chigurh, and trying to see if there is a root to knowing McCarthy in THE ROAD. NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, and the challenges to "white male mythos"...as the novels often tear that mythos apart. But I'm paraphrasing here.
