An afternoon downtown

Very serious about baseball around here. So serious, separately packaged peanuts.

Book Reviews from Chicago Reader, including The Road by Cormac McCarthy, and The Denver Post. The Guardian, this review is a doozy, whew. I hope it inspires someone to run and read the novel.

THat last pic looks like a sunnyside up egg on a piece of whole wheat toast. Or maybe I'm just hungry.

Heh heh, it's a safety cone, upside down into a hole. So really, your foot could still fall into the hole.

Chicago looks so old.

The book review only made me want to run from the horror this world turned out to be! I don't know if I will ever have the courage to read it! Perhaps it would be worth reading for the courage of the characters, father & son. For some reason it reminded me slightly of "Night" by Elie Wiesel. I love the City, there is always something fascinating in the glance.

Which taste better, Cubs peanuts or Sox peanuts?

I like the colours of the Cubs packaging, but I'm more familiar with the Sox as a team, so those are the ones I would be buying.

Healing Room, Chicago is not that old, average American city old...it's probably one of the most beautiful cities in the world though. I still haven't seen an ugly building downtown. Even the simple boring buildings are gorgeous. This is heaven for architecture buffs, thats for sure. There are buildings that hang next to theriver and it is a stunning down town.

Diana, yeah, skip the book, it is uber depressing. I don't know why I keep plugging it honest, wait for the movie, which is being made now.

Mister Anchovy, I have to answer the Cubs peanuts or I'll be in trouble.

Red, which team one prefers reflects which neighbourhood you live in. I wouldn't even acciently buy the SOX bag of peanuts. The cashiers would be shocked.
